Connect OpenRouteService to HorecaPOS

With OpenRouteService, HorecaPOS calculates runs for your drivers by road, with distance and expected arrival per address. You create your own API key on openrouteservice.org; it is free, with a daily limit. The address is set to https://api.openrouteservice.org by default and can point to your own server. The key stays on the POS and is not included in the configuration export.

What the integration with OpenRouteService does

  • Your own API key from openrouteservice.org is required
  • Per run: best order, distance and travel time there and back
  • If the service fails, the planning falls back to an estimate

Routing

Distance and travel time for your own delivery drivers via OpenRouteService, for a smart order of delivery runs.

This integration works straight away: the administrator switches it on in the POS settings and enters the OpenRouteService details there.
