Connect Brecknell to HorecaPOS

With the integration between HorecaPOS and Brecknell, you weigh with the 6702U, 6710U or 6720U directly from your POS. Brecknell, also known as Salter Brecknell, belongs to the same group as Avery Weigh-Tronix and also uses NCI out of the box. The POS sends a W and reads the weight and status. On the scale you can also choose 8213 (SCP03).

What the integration with Brecknell does

  • In the POS: Request (Toledo), 9600 baud, 7E1
  • Connect via RS232 or USB (virtual COM port)
  • The status line reports whether the weight is moving, overloaded or underloaded

Scales

The POS reads the weight from the Brecknell scale itself and charges per kilo; no more typing in weights.

This integration works straight away: the administrator switches it on in the POS settings and enters the Brecknell details there.
