With the integration between HorecaPOS and Mettler Toledo, your POS requests the weight from an Ariva-S or Viva POS scale. The Ariva and Viva use the Toledo 8217 protocol: the POS sends a W and the scale replies with the weight. With Mettler Toledo this goes with 7 data bits and even parity, which the POS sets up automatically when you choose the model. For the bPlus and UC Evo label scales, the POS scans the label.
