Connect Minebea Intec to HorecaPOS

With the integration between HorecaPOS and Minebea Intec, you use a Signum, Combics, Midrics or Puro as a scale at your POS. Minebea Intec is the former industrial division of Sartorius. Set the scale to SBI with automatic printing, so it keeps sending the weight itself; if there is no unit after the weight, it is still moving. These models only weigh; the POS calculates the price.

What the integration with Minebea Intec does

  • 9600 baud, 8N1, Continuous protocol
  • RS232 and USB; Signum and Combics also Ethernet
  • The message looks like N + 0.512 kg

Scales

The POS reads the weight from the Minebea Intec scale itself and charges per kilo; no more typing in weights.

This integration works straight away: the administrator switches it on in the POS settings and enters the Minebea Intec details there.
