Connect Gram to HorecaPOS

With the integration between HorecaPOS and Gram, you use the XFOC RS, XFOC+ RS and ZFOC RS price computing scales at your POS. The POS speaks Gram's own protocol. It sends ENQ, waits for ACK, sends DC1 and then gets the weight with a status: stable, moving or error. For the ZFOC RS this comes from Gram's documentation; for the XFOC models it still needs testing.

What the integration with Gram does

  • Connect via RS232 or Gram's USB cable
  • 9600 baud, 8N1, Gram protocol
  • Each message has a check digit (BCC)

Scales

The POS reads the weight from the Gram scale itself and charges per kilo; no more typing in weights.

This integration works straight away: the administrator switches it on in the POS settings and enters the Gram details there.
